Avoid using an open water dish for your crickets as they are likely to jump in and are not very good swimmers, a great option is to use the water crystals instead.
The crystals can absorb hundreds of times their own weight in water and your crickets will be able to gain all the hydration they need without drowning.
Crystals are also very helpful with maintaining humidity and limiting any condensation as they evaporate much less.
